The Brighton Be Active program is also loads of fun and really helps with confidence in open-water swimming in all conditions. Sessions actually start at 2.45 pm on the beach and enable participants to join in the Club 400m race at 4pm every Saturday. More fun!!! here is the link

Last year for the first time many of us did indeed do an open water swim and that was from the Brighton jetty. It was most enjoyable and we were able to entice and encourage Shaun to participate. Luke is on notice.

The Brighton jetty classic is on Sunday, 5 February 2023 again here is the link to the website. Perhaps we can aim as a group to participate in this one again but the others of course are open and if any of you are keen to participate in any of them perhaps you can bring it up at our swim sessions and see how many other people put their hands up
